Accessibility Statement

Soft Steel Sanctum and The Archives are committed to creating a learning environment that is welcoming, respectful, and accessible to a wide range of movers and learners.

Movement bodies, learning styles, and access needs vary greatly. Our goal is to support thoughtful, adaptable study while continuing to improve accessibility across our digital and in-person spaces.

Digital Accessibility

We strive to make The Archives accessible across devices and for a variety of learning preferences.

Efforts include:

• clear page structure and navigation
• readable typography and high-contrast design
• compatibility with mobile and tablet viewing
• video hosting that allows playback controls such as pause, replay, and speed adjustment

If you encounter a digital accessibility barrier while using the platform, please contact us so we can address the issue.

Video & Learning Format

Studies within The Archives are presented through a combination of:

• video demonstrations
• written explanations
• conceptual descriptions of movement
• tags and categories for navigation

Providing multiple formats helps support different learning styles and allows members to revisit material in ways that work best for them.

Movement Accessibility

Movement instruction in The Archives is designed as study rather than prescription.

Every body is different, and participants are encouraged to adapt movements to their own mobility, strength, and experience levels.

When possible, Studies include:

• conceptual explanations of movement patterns
• variations or pathways into movement
• emphasis on mechanics rather than replication

Members are encouraged to approach the material at a pace that feels appropriate for their bodies.

Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We are continually learning and improving how we present movement education both online and in person.
